Milkshake smoothie

Something that my husband and I have been obsessed with lately. He uses regular milk, I go with almond milk.

Raw, vegan milkshake smoothie recipe: 1 banana,
1/2 avocado, 1 glass of sweet almond milk or regular milk, optional 5 fresh dates, optional 1 spoon of chia seeds.

    Oh, I want to try this recipe, darling. <3 Do you make your own almond milk or do you buy it? I can't have store bought almond milk on the diet I'm on, too much preservatives/additives, but I've been making my own and have been surprised at how easy it is. I've especially been making it to use in this waffle recipe, which I'm a bit obsessed with: http://againstallgrain.com/2012/06/21/grain-free-waffles/ I dare say, I think these grain free waffles are even better than the regular ones (with grains/white flour) I had growing up.

      I’ve been buying the almond milk because the one I made was not as tasty as I wished it would be, maybe it’s because the store bought has some added sweetener or maybe I didn’t have the right proportions of almonds to water. I will most likely try making it again. I like regular milk the most but unfortunately I have an allegry to it.
      The waffles look great! I don’t have a waffle maker though. :)

    Recently got the ninja bullet blender (? hope that’s the name) and have constantly been trying to find almond milk recipes! This sounds so yummy xx
